3.  Answer Chapter 9 Money In Review section of workbook.  Check your answers with the answer key.  Use this as a study guide for your Chapter 8 Test. 

4.  Do student activity sheet, “Back Then”. 

5.  Do student activity sheet, “Travel Agent.”  You have $1,100 in your vacation fund to plan a family vacation anywhere in the world.  Your family includes two adults and two kids.  Use the internet to calculate your expenses and plan your trip.  Create a visual display of your vacation.

6.  Do Chapter 9 case studies.

7.  Take Chapter 9 Test.  This is NOT an open book test.

8.  Answer Before you Begin Chapter 10 (pg. 142)

9.  Listen to Dave Ramsey for at least ½ hour each week. Type up a paragraph or two summarizing the caller’s situation, followed by the advice that Dave gave the caller.  What is your opinion about the caller’s situation and the advice Dave gave the caller?  Did you learn anything from the situation?

Extra Credit Opportunity

The Extra Credit opportunity is to read and do a book report on the book Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris.  This is due by Oct. 29.

7.  Do student activity sheet “ Individual Fund Tracker”.  Use www.finance.yahoo.com, www.money.msn.com, www.morningstar.com, or www.cnnmoney.com to track your funds.  This assignment will take 10 weeks.  Due on Dec 3.


8.  With your partner, complete the “Investments Examined” activity sheet.  Each group will teach the rest of the class about your investment on Sept. 24.  You will have up to 5 minutes to teach the class about your investment.  You may use visual aides or any other creative methods of teaching the class about your investment.
